Instructions

 

This assignment assumes students have read Chapter 16 of the online textbook. Students should watch a segment of the New York City Documentary about the politics and economics of the north during Reconstruction. While watching the film, students should complete the questions on the viewing worksheet (page 2 of this document) and submit their responses to Canvas. Students can access the video through the video link in the “Week Nine” module in Canvas and watch from 24:20 to 48:10. As an alternative, students can access the video directly through the Bellevue College Library.

Scroll down to video (should be the first one)

Click on “New York, 1865-1898: Sunshine and Shadow”

Watch from 24:20 to 48:10
